SGT (Join to see) while on the subject of training, has anyone used something like Mantis X to improve shot placement? Improving overall marksmanship is always a good thing. I have seen people who use it, and the claims are that it will improve shot placement as a whole, but I figure since we have a strong shooting community here on RP, I would ask those who shoot a lot.
As for the post itself, the range close to my house is an indoor range with no holster or any type of dynamic shooting. There is a firearms training place that is just getting started, they use dry fire and laser shot tracking for in class training. We do have a range with a "Shooting House" on it, but I have not yet inquired about how that works. It is an outdoor range, they allow shooting from the draw and shooting and moving, the problem is that on weekends they tend to be packed with Handgun Carry Permit class shooters so getting a lane to shoot in is tenuous at best. I do a lot of dry fire, and draw practice in my home. Though without any formal training, any bad habit I am picking up, are just being ingrained.

My range does not allow drawing from the holster but allows rapid fire. I need to check if they would allow shooting at a moving target.
