Sen. Murphy: Right to Keep And Bear Arms Part of 'Imaginary' 2nd Amendment

SGT (Join to see) there is a simple solution to this. When a congressman states that Congress has the right to re-interpret the constitution (the job of the Supreme Court), they are in violation of their oath to support and defend the constitution. Therefore they should be sanctioned up to and including being removed from congress. That should be applied across the board. I don't care what party they represent, or what issue they represent. Their function is to pass legislation, not interpret the Constitution. IF he wants to change the second amendment, then he should be proposing legislation to do so. Oh wait, that has been tried, and it is wildly unpopular. So since that approach is not working, they are trying an unconstitutional approach.
