My view is that the bill should be bi-partisan and it looks like it will be in the end. The Republicans are designing it to be the first phase of several bills because they know the Democrats will be in power at some point in the future. The same was not done with Obamacare unfortunately. So at a minimum it looks like some institutional learning is taking place here. I am not worried the first bill is crap because there will be more bills after the Tax Reform passes.

After listening to the Democrats today and what they want, it isn't bipartisanship, it is capitulation. No repeal and limited input from the right. It will be passed with a reconciliation with at least 51 votes or we will have the meltdown in total of the ACA. To date, the Democrats have made zero attempt to fix the many issues destroying the ACA. Now it appears that the ultimate solution from them is the original plan as spoken by Obama, a single payer system.

MCPO Roger Collins - Thats Shumer just babling on and on for the Cameras, I think you will find they are a lot more flexible and the Blue Dog Democrat Caucus is already meeting with Republicans on Tax reform behind Shumers back.

From reports that I've been hearing, the far left leadership has driven the Blue Dogs out of the party.

Capt Dwayne Conyers - No there is no replacement as the for profit insurance companies have the power, not the government.
