Sergeant Major convicted of molesting child, but not kicked out of military

Troubling development. It should be noted that there was a similar circumstance in my MICO in Afghanistan in 2003-2004. Two E5s were retained and prosecuted for child porn and bestiality porn on their assigned classified computers. Don't know what the final outcome was though... too many of these issues seem to be occurring lately for me though, JM2C..

Well there is a SPC Virgil Ebrecht at Peterson AFB. I would have thought he would have at least reached the retention control point by now and put out.
If not then there is a reason why he is still in. Most likely he is still under investigation for something else.

Nothing came of it. Does the Army want to give itself a black eye? If they bust him down and kick him out than it's pretty much like they're admitting that he shouldn't have a Sergeant Major.
