Helped a German couple push their car while on my way home once. Was in uniform, so was a bit nervous. They were very grateful. Same deal, people driving by, honking and being impatient with them. Was so crappy. I had to help. Hopefully it showed the Germans watching me how helpful and well mannered Americans can truly be.
