That is a very big character in the picture COL Mikel J. Burroughs. I have doubts that Public Television's Sesame Street would be a good source for resources for the families of transitioning service member families.
Sesame Street has worked best with "shows" and skis with broad appeal. The families of transitioning service members as well as those who move every 2 or three years are unique. I would prefer church, synagogue, temple, mosque and local civics groups be the primary external groups to help transitioning families as well as the children for those families that move very 2 or 3 years.

I actually like the idea. Transitioning is difficult for everyone in the family since it generally means moving; even if they are staying near base the kids have to change schools. Any little bit helps.
