I believe none of the seven lies. Only those that have drank the kool-aide believe in the bulk of them.

1 and 2 are always going to be in play as there is no stopping big brother, #3 has nothing to do with the government- it is the taxpayer; #4's answer is slightly skewed as we leverage as much as we borrow- we just forgive it more; #5 has more to do with lack of vision on what to do when we take action and always trying to win hearts and minds; #7 is flat out true and needs no supporting documentation so the whole question was bs.

Fair enough. Perhaps the entire article would have been better titled, "7 Misrepresentations Believed by the Average American" ... :-)
