My son and I were talking about this last night. It is amazing, Game Stop went from $20.00 per share to over $300 per share. I have a very basic understanding of shorting but this s going to produce some changes in trading, buying and selling. Reddit/ WallStreetbets and Robin Hood are cheap stock trading apps. This bit of coordinated activity cost hedge funds a ton of money.

A cousin in Thompson's Station was Regional VP of Game Stop over Southeast. He may have retired or moved to Corporate. He started in early 80s as a store manager in Asheville NC, before Babbage's bought them. Seems it was called Software Boutique or similar. The gaming industry has done well with covid isolation. This is like a reverse pump and dump almost.
