The biggest problem I see with him, and those like him, i.e... actor/entertainer types, is that it seems that something happens to them over time as they gain fame and money, where they begin to believe the bullshit that's printed and said about them in the media. They start to think that, simply because they possess a talent that has made them wealthy, they are somehow more entitled, intelligent, or deserving of the adulation that gets heaped upon them and places them into a status above the masses... not unlike politicians.... They then surround themselves with psychophants and adoring servants who are there for their own selfish motives who will constantly tell them what they want to hear in order to keep the goodies flowing rather than be candid with them regarding the realities in life...
As a result, an utterly predictable one, these so-called "stars" end up self destructing any time they are faced with reality or told that they can't have something they want simply because they want it. These coddled children eventually end up throwing tantrums like the entitled brats they are and true reality bites them right in their pampered asses, as it should. One of two things usually happen in that case; they will either grow the hell up and realize they are no better than anybody else and straighten their asses up, or they won't, in which case the downward spiral will continue and they eventually end up worse off than their idolitous worshippers who quickly move on to the next false god....
People like LeBeouf are actually victim of their own stupidity and overblown sense of worth and deserve no pity from anyone. Unfortunately, the cycle continuous. If it's not him, it will be someone else....
