It is a fair question. To me, the issue of St. Nidk is not a problem as long as we explain why St. Nick did what he did. My issue is with the Universal Church that made the Winter Solstice, a pagan holiday, into a Christian holiday. Were shepherds tending their flocks in the dead of winter?
I do not think we can change it now. Christ will have to do when he rules in person.
Now Easter, is pure paganism. The last day of Passover is what we should be celebrating. When the blood of the lamb was placed on the Hebrews door posts so the Angel of Death would pass over.
The Universal Church's dogma has mislead Christians for 1800 years and it has blood on it's hands for murdering individuals that do not agree with it's dogma. That is not Christianiity. That is rule of the few over the many.
Sorry for the rant. But Christmas got me started.

Yes let your kids believe in Santa Claus as long as they can, it makes the Christmas season magical to them. Didn't your parents try to keep the Christmas season magical for you as long as they could.
