This is a petition to form a law that assists families and LEO/first responders in locating and providing assistance to at-risk veterans who display signs of suicide, or have gone missing and have projected thoughts of suicide. Bear in mind, this is a rough draft, and will be amended and modified as it goes through the process. Feedback is always welcome. It also provides a way for a veteran to seek help without fear of criminal prosecution, unless there is a felony or violent crime committed, (not a way out of civilian prosecution for crimes that absolutely require punishment). More of a way for a veteran to feel comfortable in getting the help he needs with veterans being the judiciary standard for snv.
