A lady my wife knew, that had been in the Air Force in the mid-'70's decided to sit in the middle of a train track, this happened in about '84-'85.

I have besides with your son suicide. My sister committed suicide on the 4th of July 2015. She was not active duty but she suffered her own PTSD and she had painkiller and alcohol issues as well.

I'm sorry for your loss. Any suicide is a tragedy and leaves a terrible burden on the family of guilt and unanswered questions. The "would ofs, could ofs and should ofs" are debilitating enough as you try to adjust to life without your loved one.
