If I get this article right, they are just explaining the marketing differenced between naming a company a unicorn vs. a zebra; that the expectation of a “unicorn” named company brings the expectation of grater rewards (earnings) that don’t always pan out. They suggest we should be looking for “zebra” companies, that are he hard working organizations, that work through anything to get to their goal, but produce consistently, maybe not as much as a person would want from a unicorn company. At lease that’s my take on it.
