I am not very familiar with sister Rosetta Tharpe. However I think this is a wonderful live video of her singing and playing the electric guitar on Didn't It Rain while it is raining.

Never knew of her. Pleased to know her now.
Has been referred to as "the godmother of rock and roll" so guessing she was around in the 50s and earlier.
