Most of the world ignores the open slave trade in the world, but it is much more prevalent that one would think. In many third world countries it is common practice for families to sell their children. The civilized industrial world finds this despicable.

PO1 John Crafton - That is true, most Arab countries still have slave markets and in many of the Asian countries (Cambodia, Thailand etc) selling children is common practice.
