Soldiers aren't required to wear all of their awards and decorations, unless ordered to do so (i.e., parades, reviews, inspection, and ceremonial and social events.

make it like the majority of the other services... all awards on one side with a max of 2 qualification badges and 2 identification badges each.

I'm so sick of this uniform. Does it look nice? Yea, it does. But, if we are trying to move the Army into the future, then why are we going backwards in the look of dress uniforms? Also, SMA Daily is in his last year of this position and highly likely to retire when his tenure is over. Sooooo....he won't have to worry about this uniform. Not to mention the fact that the Clothing Allowance that Active Duty gets barely will cover the cost....oh....and Reserve and Guard folks DON'T GET CLOTHING ALLOWANCE. I'm sick of paying out of pocket for uniforms. And if he wants Soldiers to wear less decorations and awards on uniforms....then perhaps awards and decorations shouldn't be handed out like candy and participation trophies. Why does every single leader in those highest of positions always want to focus on uniforms and create something (that usually ends up being hated hated) that is their lasting legacy when they leave? Black beret for all.....dumbass idea. APFU uniforms that are mostly dark with orange lettering so that we do PRT in the dark of the morning it's even harder to see us......even more of a dumbass idea. Uniforms with velcro....oops, my bad....hook and loop....my head still hurts on this one.

I like the black APFT better however find it foolish at one point we could not get out of the shower without a reflective belt and now we do PT someplaces without it. Don't forget that officers also do not receive any uniform allowance and we become low cost to the government and big profit to uniform companies when we switch.
