Well, lest the Russians get too upset about reverse engineering, let's recall the Russian version of a space shuttle. It flew one unmanned mission and the program died along with the Soviet Union. Does it look slightly familiar to anyone?

SrA John Monette - NASA did at one time paint the external tanks but it did not adhere to the foam coating. The foam was sprayed on and was yellowish in color. When exposed to UV light, it turned into the burnt orange color.

SPC David S. - Talk about copies, take a look at China's military hardware, nearly exact copies, even down to the combat uniforms the troops wear.
