One really sad thing is that the toddler son will now grow up with neither parent and no understanding of why. Another is the fact he did not understand why he was in court. That implies a total dissociation from or loss of memory of the event itself. Not a good sign from someone with 2 deployments.

Capt Dwayne Conyers - My family was fortunate. When my son and his 1st wife divorced, it was relatively amicable and the kids were never put in the middle or used as weapons. Squabbles between the exes, sure, but they always left the kids out of it. Sorry to hear you can relate to the other side.
