MSG (Join to see) thanks for the share, a sad day in the Army/world. He will be missed. R.I.P.

Spc. Rollin Carey, a satellite communications system operator, was found by German police near railroad tracks close to the train station in Landstuhl.
The 26-year-old was struck by a train, according to a Stars and Stripes report.
Army Criminal Investigation Command told Army Times that the German police are the lead investigators in this case.

As I had been stationed at LRMC, and have been to that Bahnhoff many times, I fear that alcohol may have been a factor.

Not sure; I didn't know him to be that careless while I was there.

That is a terrible tragedy. Thank you for sharing it though. I used to work right next door. I might know a few guys who worked with him.
