Soldier hits Apache with live ammo in Fort Irwin training mishap

No kidding. Live rounds in the magazine when all they were issued is blanks. Four live rounds impacted the Apache. Extremely careless...

I had the same experience during an FTX. Doesn't the folks at the ammo dump know that if it has a bullet it's 'not a blank?

yikes, good thing those things are pretty resistant to small arms.
