Thanks TSgt Joe C. for reminding us that this past Memorial Day, 7-year-old Mason and his family headed off to the Wilmington National Cemetery.
Mason ran off from his mom to the headstone of Sergeant TJ Butler and the young boy drew a picture and wrote a sweet note for the soldier. He even placed the paper in a plastic bag so it wouldn’t be damaged.
By the grace of God Sergeant TJ Butler mother, who frequently visits his grave, eventually found Mason’s note sitting on his tombstone.
