Some Military Traditions Are Worth Preserving. Others Are Obsolete

A thoughtful article, PO3 Steven Sherrill, but a BLUF fail. "...personal integrity to weigh the pros and cons of tradition, and keep true to the history that got us here" seems to me the point of the article, but the author got there in a round about way. After reading it twice I'm still not sure he agrees with his concluding thought.
