Good article about what should be common sense.
What vet's need to remember is that no one owes you anything. If you walk into an interview expecting or thinking that you deserve that job due to your veteran status, you won't get the job.

True...one former General took a director's position of a distribution center with a corporation after retirement. While still prestigious, it was lower in responsibility. It is similar to taking a brigade command as a Colonel although he previously had more people reporting to him.
