Sorry folks, veterans are not necessarily experts on foreign policy

Good article, and pretty much on point. I would say that our military service alone does not make us experts on any topic, but it does give us unique insights that civilians will likely never have.

Well veterans are not experts on foreign affairs but they did put their name on a dotted line when called by the nation and did what they were ask. Many risk life and limb. The Military is a great place to hone your BS detector. So these folks should get some attention some where even if they can't get it at the VA!
