This was awful. Could have been a lot worse. Glad we had a military pilot in the cockpit who kept her composure. Sometimes things happen, like birdstrikes and they are unavoidable. Not sure if this one was or not yet. I will wait on the NTSB report.

Looks to be more than your run of the mill compressor stall. Lots of ex military flying and maintaining for the airlines.
