SpaceX launch creates dramatic show in sky over Los Angeles

I was stationed at Patrick Air Force Base just south of Cape Canaveral from 93 to 99. We use to go to the beach and watch the launches. They were awesome. One time, they had an "anomaly", in other words, the rocket exploded in mid-flight.
