SpaceX wants to build rocket-processing facility on Space Coast

SpaceX's presence has increased on the Space Coast during the last few years as it ramps up its rocket-launch frequency. Last year, it launched 13 missions from the Space Coast, including 12 from Launch Complex 39A.

The next mission will send one of the company’s Dragon capsules to the International Space Station (ISS), carrying cargo and experiments for the scientists on board. That mission is scheduled to launch at 5:41 a.m. June 29 from Space Launch Complex 40.
