‘Special Snowflake’ My Ass: Why Identity Labels Matter

I liked this part most: "If you’re privileged — and everyone is in some form or another — recognize it."

I liked this part least: "...at least stop pretending other people’s identities and experiences are affecting your lifestyle."

Good points as to why people want a community to call home. I think it would've helped the main point for the writer to say more to relate to those who don't understand the LGBT community, but that likely would've made the post twice as long.
