One of my few regrets in life is that I never learned to fly. Sadly, not even the lax medical qualifications of this program would encourage me to try. I have an affliction of the inner ear that can cause loss of balance unexpectedly. It is worrisome enough to cause me to quit sailing. I can't imagine trusting myself "up there".

Capt Daniel Goodman - It's called Meniere's Disease. Yeah, one of those things named after the "lucky" guy who first brought it to some doctor's attention. It was my second "M" disease (the first was malaria). Lucky me.

I thought it might be, I wasn't sure, I know of it quite well...let me give the matter some thought, if I find anything that might be worthwhile, I'll try to send it, I appreciate your having explained, of course, many thanks, sometimes, I seem to have capacity to find useful things on such topics, not always, though I have on occasion...just out of curiosity, again, I take it you've had it looked into quite extensively, I take it? I was just wondering.. If you'd prefer to not go into anything further, I of course understand...I'd just wish you'd be able to fulfill a lifelong ambition of course, despite such a problem , if at all possible, by all means, you understand, many thanks, in any event, certainly....

I found considerable matl relating to the problem relative to FAA licensure, I just thought you might initially find this of interest, I'll keep seeing if I can find anything else, I obv don't want to overwhelm certainly, as is often my wont, I'm afraid, so if I do, pls tell me, and I'll of course try to not do so, by all means...I'd be most eager for your thoughts about this site, whenever convenient, just thought might be of at least some value, honest....

I just didn't know if you'd heard of them, they seem to be a major group involved in the whole topic....

Looks like the sports pilot training would be more fun and shorter. Have a few customers that have ultras and they enjoy them emmensely.
