Is it really okay to call Kiwi Herring a victim of transgender Violence?

First Kiwi stabs the neighbor then the cops. Cops shoot and kill Kiwi. How is this violence of transgenders baised? Why are people holding a vigil for a violent person?

HRC has them listed on their website grouped in with those who got murdered.
I am belittling some of the others that died but some I bet were transvestite hookers.
A lot of transgender activist justify prostitution or porno work as a means to survive and pay for things like hormones and surgery.
Its not good and maybe puts ideas into peoples heads they have to go about it that way. There has to be work done to find friendly employers and to dissuade as many as possible from sex work. Of those who do sex work in some segments 70% are HIV positive. Lifetime treatment is about 650,000 so its worth the investment to try to prevent new case and cut down the murder rate of that demographic.

While I do not believe violence against Trans persons should be downplayed, I don't think it mattered at all in this case. Cut an officer with a knife and you get shot. Doesn't matter if you are man, woman, or trans.
