Very glad to hear this news. When I went through BMT in 1994, my two MTIs were an E-4 Sergeant and an E-4 Senior Airman. They were phenomenal teachers and guides.

The standard isnt being LOWERED. The standard is the standard. They are simply going back towards what we have done for DECADES.

No drill sergeant I ever knew in the Army just did average on a PT test. I maxed every PT test I ever did and I was not a DI.
