Stand Down 2018 – Placer Veterans Stand Down

Call to arms - so to speak. It is here once again. I am talking about Stand Down. Anyone that has ever volunteered to spend some time to be of service in the Veteran community you know what it is like to volunteer for Stand Down. Placer County, California Stand Down is just over a month away (May 15 - 17, 2018) at the Placer County Fairgrounds right here in Roseville. It is time for all volunteers to make contact with PCSD. The website I posted will give you all the information you need. In addition to volunteering, I want to get the word out to veterans who may be in need of services about this event. It is awesome, this is a chance for all my local brothers and sisters to give something to our fellow vets that might need "A Hand Up, Not A Hand Out!) I have done this for several years and between Placer and Sacramento Stand Downs these are my primary annual service opportunities. I look forward to Stand Down and get excited and sort of giddy as time draws near. I will be posting more about the Sacramento Stand Down which is going to be at Cal Expo August 24-26, 2018.
