Do you mean Former State Department employee? He, of course, is smarter than everyone else and his decision about sending infected people to the US must be correct, I mean, he is a state department official and all, they are near geniuses, right?
He is your typical pompous ass of a foreign service employee, haven't we seen enough of them lately? He overrides the CDC and the president because, well, he knows better. He thought all of this through and came up with his own plan.
BTW, I love how the story leads with his curriculum vitae as if that matters to anyone other than him. The media loves to pump up these peoples resume but seemingly can never point to an actual positive result, only where they have been and for how long. Funny isn't it?

Yes, they seem to be everywhere - top U.S. election official Shelby Pierson started this current "Russian 'play' to help Trump" narrative that has been dispelled.
This seems like one of those stories the press rush to get out but there is usually more to it. We'll have to wait and see. Meanwhile, Pompeo and Maguire need to clean house.
