Medicaid rules was the issue. Who does the Secretary of Health & Human Services report to? You do realize one lowly state representative has virtually no impact on Federal issues, don't you? One dumb statement does not convey the attitudes of "some" as you say. This guy will pay a price, and that is how the system functions for Republicans.

His attitude is typical, Medicaid is funded by the ACA for most states then there are some who refused the money.
Republican don't take care of all their dumb ones they like the Dem try to get the elected. So you cannot say one party is above the line over the other.
ACA is a great life savor especially in cases like Type I Diabetes, it is very expensive to keep these kids alive. I have great health care and it cost me thousands. Oh yeah it's considered a preexsisting condition if you change jobs, but not anymore with advent of the ACA

This guy is a twit. But that's not the limit of twitdom, is it? Someone then has to jump on this as example of how "some Republican candidates feel..." How about "...some candidates..." No, that simply wouldn't occur to a true ideologue, would it? Shall we now begin to list the callous things Democrats have said and done over the years? Actually, if I limited myself to Hillary, I could probably crash the RP servers with my postings.

MSgt Michael Bischoff - That's pretty much a waste of time, isn't it? Obamacare is repealing itself. Sadly, the GOP lawmakers couldn't put it out of our misery and saved a few dollars. The Democrats insisted on keeping it on life support and draining the treasury. And as if that isn't bad enough, they've also destroyed the healthcare industry putting facilities out of business and chasing providers out of the country or quitting to pursue other careers. Yeah, you go ahead and pretend that those big bad meanies in the GOP are evil.

I understand his anwser, and it did sound cold and uncaring. But she laid out the senerio as a life or death situation ( which I it was ) . So in his mind it would serve the child quicker if you have a job and use your hard earned money first to buy the life saving supplies. Than wait on a political official to find out what is going on. The important issue is the Child, not making political hey , the company should have informed their customer base that they were out sourcing their products. And the customer should check with their medical network to see if there are any changes due to the out sourcing. You can't put the state Rep on the spot and let the supplier off the hook, The supplier showed no compassion to its customers by choosing a out sourcing service that did not meet In Network standards.

I have great health care and still cost me thousands. So getting a job is not the answer in any scenario. Medical care companies (equipment and pharmaceuticals) have wrap on congress also, so nothing will be done.
Oh yeah will form a committee and investigate the obvious and issue a non binding saying how bad they are, but thank you for donating to my PAC!!!
