Cpl,
The RINO's have a lot of responsibility on why our country is in such a FUBAR situation too. I think there is only one party. Both sides have sold out for money and power. Only a few seem Honorable.
Have a good day,
M. Morris RVT

I agree, there is one party at the leadership level. The people who still think there is a separation just need to wake up to the corruption.

I used to work for the elections department in my county. I installed voting machines, unloaded them after the election and basically assisted the supervisor in getting the votes to the capital. Before I say anything, lets discuss your legal rights as a citizen:
1. You are entitled to witness an election
2. You are entitled to assist in an election (volunteer poll worker)
3. You are entitled to watch the ballot counting/tabulation (requires advance approval)
We also need to know what definition we wish to use for "voter fraud" (VF). VF takes many forms. Yes. Really. Lets say you show up with no ID. You claim you wish to vote and "just moved here to this county." So obviously you're not going to be on the record. You are asked for ID - which I as the poll worker am legally allowed and required to do. You claim you have none. At this point in time, I then give you a provisional ballot. They vary by state but in my county, they are Coast Guard orange in color. A provisional ballot is basically "we don't know who you are but as you are allowed to vote, we are letting you use this extemporaneous ballot." I will then open the box (so as not to touch the paper) and allow you to grab a provisional ballot. After you mark it, insert it in the machine, retrieve it, I will then show you an envelope to put it in. You do that and I then place your ballot in a "provisional stack." Now, here's the fun part...
You have (time varies by county) three days to come in to your local elections office with ID proving who you are and where you live. Should you fail/refuse to do that, your ballot becomes invalid. But wait...it becomes more than invalid. You are now a felon and have jail time and a fine! And as I did not touch the ballot, your fingerprints are on the ballot. Easy right? OK. Now that you've volunteered to be an election watcher, after the election is over, watch what happens to the provisional ballot stack. It is gingerly placed in a carrier and taken to the state prosecutor's office. Do yourself a favor and come back in three days. Ask to see the state prosecutor, or failing that, his/her secretary. Ask what actions are being done to the fraudulent voters.*
Not quite the answer you were looking for, was it?
Now you know why VF is so rampant. Because quite simply, no one of either party does anything about it. So your first step in eliminating VF is going to be holding your elected officials accountable. * = if the office folk give you some privacy act speel, you can always go on to mugshots.com for the county where you live and see who got arrested and for what. A year goes by and you don't have a single VF arrest? Wow. I'd say the state pros isn't doing their job.
