Staying in this New Year? You’re not alone

I've been staying in for the last 15 years on New Year Eve and New Year's Day Capt Dwayne Conyers

Stayed home, weather was the pits.

We haven't celebrated New Years out in 20+ years. Our tradition is that we order our favorite appetizers form whatever restaurant in town, go pick them up early, buy a bottle of Champagne, go home and put on PJ's, watch movies until it is time for the ball to drop then toast the old year and new year and then snooze out. New years day we have our traditional lunch of Black eyed peas for good luck, and greens for financial luck with cornbread and pork chops and just stay in. We have no desire to fight crowds just to ring in the new year and on top of that...dang it is cold this year.
