Interesting thing is when they finally settled his estate after his death, it was found he basically had nothing of personal or business wealth to leave to anyone. Don't recall the details of the business side as he was very successful selling records and albums, etc, but on the personal side he only left about a dozen guitars and even very little personal items such as clothing and hats he wore. He did not accumulate a lot of things during his life which testifies to his character.

Stevie Ray is still watching over the City of Austin from his place on the South bank of the Colorado River as it runs through Austin and is called here "Lady Bird Lake" in honor of LBJs wife Lady Bird Johnson.
