No thank you. When I lived in San Antonio I killed a number of scorpions in our house. On the night I got orders 3000 miles west of any base I requested I was stung by a scorpion while in bed! I detest those critters.

I remember living on the West side of El Paso (stationed at Ft. Bliss) and staggering out of the bed at 0430 to get ready for PT.
Headed to the bathroom and turned on the water in the sink, splashed it on my face, THEN looked in the sink ... damn scorpion in the sink (must have crawled up through the drain). So glad I didn't decide to fill the bowl first.

When our late Dad was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas in 1966 - 1969; we use to catch scorpions and put them into empty soda bottles. I have no idea what type they were and have no interest in finding out how we all managed to not get stung. I guess the old saying of 'Just Young and Dumb!' holds true. I am also surprised that we were never bit by any of the many rattle snakes that we came across when we were out looking for Indian arrow heads. Oh the good times we had back in the day!I wish you and yours a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year! I Salute All My Fellow Veterans!!! GOD Bless America!!!
