They should absolutely deal with that teacher accordingly. Does that mean that all other teachers who are well trained and who volunteer to carry should be banned from carrying? No more than everyone should be banned from driving because some people drive drunk. Yawn. #notastory

Maybe a check slip, like for coats, CSM Charles Hayden. Check it in and out so you don't have to worry. That, or take weapons seriously and treat it like it should be. Not like leaving pen on the sink. Inexcusable in my book.

CSM Charles Hayden And this is where we can implement gun laws that will actually help - Negligent firearm handling? $5000 fine and one year in jail. That includes lost weapons, dropped weapons, etc.

Hahahaha! I truly thought this was going to be satire from The Onion or The New Yorker.

Seriously though, he's extremely lucky that a kid didn't find his gun first considering it was a bathroom at a public beach. Instead it was a drunk, homeless man; and thank goodness he wasn't an illegal immigrant and that no one was killed.
