Any reuse, repurposing, or recycling is better than using new all the time. Eventually, new will ALL BE GONE if we keep doing it that way.

I'm retired now and have studiously schooled myself to avoid thinking about the idiocy that I saw in all those years working with government agencies (every level fed to local), businesses (one man operations to multi-national corporations), and military. Project management in the military was far superior to any other (which ought to tell you something, warn you). For every little success I witnessed (supposing that this was a success), I saw countless failures fraught with waste of time, effort, material, and even human lives. Six Sigma shows promise, but then, so did all the other "scientific management" theories. Good luck. You'll need it if you're still in the game
