This happened in Ansbach, which is right down the road (literally) from my old post in Germany. It's a shame to see this happen. Fortunately, those I care for who are there seem to all be accounted for and safe.
I can't help but wonder, though, what kind of ramifications this will have for US forces in Germany in the future, especially in light of that this is one of several incidents that have happened this past week...

No names of any injured released yet, but it seems my folks in Katterbach are ok. I just left there back in 14.

All this crap is happening around me. Merkel needs to be deposed. To my fellow soldiers and those on travel, Head on a Swivel. Remember that bullet ricochets tend to hug the floor so crouch. Keep your key escape plan in any location you go. Know where cover and concealment are.
I have been orating that Germany is a war-zone. Not as intense as the war zones of other places, but it's getting warmer and is one nonetheless. The kind of animalistic human filth that has been unleashed upon the post WW2 apologetic and generous German people is sickening. 73-80% of these animals are 18 to 28 years old. That is no accident. Former Libyan dictator called for this sort of action. It doesn't take a PhD or a rocket scientist to connect the dots. There is no reason why people need to bend over and be apologetic of their culture or lands, especially when tens of thousands of years of hard won surviving purchased them such.
Maybe it will end me up in a German charges, but if I see one of these scumbags begin to pull an axe, machete, or gun out of their backpack anywhere near me, I will dispatch them without hesitation.
