Demensia is a cruel disease. Since when is the president denied the rights accorded by the 1st amendment. How is he suppressing the press?

So you think that free speech should be suppressed?

People can agree or disagree with Trump. But when was the last time you saw a President (loved or hated by the press) do extended press briefings where he took unscreened questions?..and so often?
Suppression (and oppression) is something Progressive-minded people have complained about at every corner.
I never saw Obama, Hillary, or Bill accept such a banter. Then again, the press was too busy kissing their boots & donating to them.
Trump has every right to fight back. He fights for the other half when calls them out.

McCain's immature behavior is driven by the fact that Trump was able to do what he was not, become President. McCain's own ineptness as a candidate lead us to Obama. He is responsible for letting Obama beat him and usher in 8 years of socialist policy and international weakness.

McCain is still in full pout and undermine role. He is a small and bitter man who cannot accept the rejection of the American people when he ran for national office and he cannot figure our how Trump did it as he spent his life preparing for the job. It is simple John, you have no energy, no new ideas, nothing to motivate and inspire people to vote for you. You were the "next" GOP candidate for the office but forgot you actually had to work for it.

it is a shame he has come to this considering what a distinguished service record he had but that was many decades ago. What we have not is a shallow, vacant vapid politician who cannot accept the reality of the situation he finds himself in. Perhaps the voters of Arizona will do us a favor next election and let him start collecting his congressional pension.

Really? It seems that your support for him is fair-weather at best. When John McCain tows the party line, not a peep. He expresses concern about what he see a president doing, then comments like this come up. So which is it? Stalwart conservative or shallow, vacant, vapid politician?

SSG Michael Hartsfield - My support for him has been consistent for about 15 years. I view him and folks like Lindsey Graham as part of the problem in Washington DC. They are GOP problems. There are plenty of democrat problems too. When I agree with McCain I agree with him, when I do not, I voice it. I try to play it straight and do not hero worship like plenty of you on the left did with Obama.

McCain on too many occasions over too many years has been on the wrong side of issues. I have very little use for him as a politician. He is not a stalwart conservative nor even a reliable one. The last number of years he has crept into the shallow, vacant, vapid realm. He comes up for air occasionally. His performance in Germany shows his instability for all to see.
