Does anyone watch Survivor?
The winner was Ben Driebergen, a veteran. He brought up his battle with PTSD and the show coordinated three of his buddies he hadn't seen in years to surprise him at the finale was he was announced as winner.
I will admit I had tears in my eyes. I am so glad he won, and he is inspiring others to be brave and be admit it's okay to feel the way they do!

Far too many of our brothers and sisters suffer in silence Mara - so it's always great to see PTSD being discussed openly & honestly. Thanks for sharing!

There was a moment when some bamboo was "exploding" in the fire, and it brought Ben into a really tough moment/trying to deal with the realities of his PTSD. He was so brave and just wanted to share his story and show others that you can work through it and there is happiness and a life to live outside of this. Thank you for sharing, MSgt Deborah Madden

I haven't watched that show since the idiot stripped naked during one of the events. Kinda lost interest after that.

Hmm... I have watched every season, but don't quite remember that! However, 35 seasons is a lot to remember. It was one of my favorite shows growing up. it's been on over 15 years!
