They are ok with white immigrants/refugees. 100k refugees from Ukraine and not a peep. Refugees from South America and it's an Invasion.

Wrong. We do not and have not ignored the overstay visa issue. They are simply the least of our concern compared to those entering illegally in the first place, due to poor border security. I am personally well aware of his immigration status and can easily understand the problem is, our country is so overwhelmed with the illegal crossings, we don't have the time we need to effectively address the overstay visas. So, we have to choose what gets the priority. Do we address the enormous record number of illegal entries, consisting of a larger portion of criminals, terrorists, and people looking to drain our resources or do we focus on those who for the most part, came here legally and were at least vetted in some fashion initially? As Cpl Long also rightfully put it (and I will give credit where credit is due), the GOP hasn't been in charge of Congress or the Office of the President for almost two years. What have the Democrats done to fix the overstay problems? What have they done to fix the illegal entry problems? What have they done to fix immigration in general (as they've wrongly insisted must be done first). All they do is talk, encourage people to come here illegally, and refuse to enforce the laws already in place. All while criticizing those working hard to enforce those laws. Seems to me that Pelosi now has a very good reason to use her last days as Speaker of the House to deal with this problem now that it has hit home... Literally!

Yep. Absolutely. Those darned GOP folks in charge of Richmond, CA where this guy was hiding out are absolutely to blame for his overstay.
What's that? That area is 3-1 Democrat?
Well, shit. There goes that argument.
It was DEMOCRATS who ignored this guy - just like they ignore ALL of the illegals in that area. Most of whom are there after *gasp* entering the US illegally from the south.
Additionally, he entered LEGALLY. He didn't even need a visa, so there wasn't an overstay to track. Yes, he DID overstay, and he WAS here illegally. But it is a completely different category and situation than the MILLIONS who are not only HERE illegally, but their very ARRIVAL is illegal.
And yes, the GOP is FOCUSED on the MILLIONS and TENS OF MILLIONS, not on the hundreds and thousands. That does not mean they condone, ignore, or approve the hundreds or thousands. Just that they are focused on fixing the biggest problem, first. I know that is a shock for folks who prefer to blame first, fix never, exacerbate always.
