Not to be a wise ass, but what did it cost for this mission for the results. A covert op could have done more damage cheaper.

That was great news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that the United States conducted drone strikes on Jan. 20, 21, and 22 against al-Qaida members in Yemen in the Bayda province of southwestern Yemen and killed five suspected terrorists with al-Qaida's affiliation in the Arabian Peninsula region.
I am thankful that my old friend and USMA classmate GEN Joe Votel is the Commander of CENTCOM.
While these strikes occurred early in the presidency of Donald Trump I expect they were teed up earlier and appropriate authorization was given form the POTUS/NSC ...
I am hopeful that over the next year or two many more successful drone strikes will be launched against al Shabaab in Somalia, al Qaeda in Iraq, Libya, and Yemen and ISIS and al Nusra front, etc.
