That article provides some important context the national Review seems to have omitted.

SSG (Join to see) - Of course. Which is why I posted the article. I mean the national review is a far right conservative magazine.

It is illegal in most publicly funded schools, however there does seem to be religious schools ( 71 Swedish schools — 59 Christian, eleven Muslim, and one Jewish ) which are publicly funded and which do provide religious education.

The current arrangement seems reasonable and I'm surprised that some in the government want to change it. That said, Sweden is one of the most secular and irreligious nations in the world and also one of the most moral. https://themysteriousworld.com/10-least-corrupt-countries-in-the-world/

They rank #9 on happiness and #2 on education. They must be doing something right.

Our great nation is ranked #18 on happiness and #17 on education. Look it up. Intriguing to say the least.

I read the article in it's entirety and it sounds like politics will once again destroy another country.

Hard to compare a small, homogenous nation to a diverse large republic like ours. Yet I'm willing to bet their happiness index declines after the impact of the latest round of immigration is truly felt.
