Taliban Holding Americans Hostage at Afghanistan Airport: Top Republican Lawmaker

Any of these scenarios would have gotten President Trump impeached but the mainstream media and Congress give our inept President Biden a pass.

The President, the National Security Advisor, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of State, the Chairman of the JCS and others should be held accountable.

They sure would have been under President Trump. It is customary for staff to resign if they cannot convince the President to change his course of action.

It happened under President Trump with General McMaster, General Mattis and others but for some reason under this Administration, they stick around like idiots. Why?


We are finally getting some transcripts of what's Happening. People should not circle the wagons and protect this President.

In the meantime Americans and others are denied passage outside of Afghanistan by air or land. People are dying and others are having to bribe to get past Taliban checkpoints to get outside of Afghanistan.

I'm glad I'm retiring in 3 months. My Mother was a social worker who spent 3 weeks trying to help the DOS process Vietnamese refugees at Camp Pendleton. The USA had left Vietnam 2 years earlier but was stuck with this evacuation as the Ford Administration was Weak with the recent Watergate scandal and President Nixon resigning. This Administration in 2021 was not under any scandal because the media ignored it and still does! One open secret in 1975 that affects us catastrophically in the present is then Senator Biden was one of the Democrats who did not want to approve President Ford's $300 million aid package to evacuate Vietnamese. Nothing has been changed and nothing was learned after the fall of South Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. This Administration does not look at earlier NEOs and After Action Reviews. Why bother with the Center for Army Lessons Learned if the Brass and the President do not look at them?

Is this a new normal to have a vice president who can't defend the Border but can go protect Governor Newsom and go cheer him on to keep his job and prevent him from being recalled? Is this the new normal for a vice president to go to Vietnam while President Biden is having his own Vietnam?

Today is a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world but the betrayed voters (including many veterans like myself) will start making things change in the mid-term elections November of next year. The House and Senate will be Republican and this inept administration will need to have the common sense to get anything signed by President Biden.
