Tammy Bruce: It's time to stand up and stop this pathological frenzy to marginalize boys and men

Sgt Wayne Wood Thanx for the interesting and engaging article. Isn't it amusing how someone who says that this topic has "zero influence on my life" has trolled both of our posts on this topic? If no influence, why so vocal? Oh well, I guess the politics of hatred against any view but liberal is alive and well.

Somehow I missed the new APA "guidelines" ( https://www.apa.org/about/policy/boys-men-practice-guidelines.pdf ), but I suppose the fact that they've been largely ignored by clinicians says something. As a psychologist, this is just another example of many in recent years that makes me ashamed of the inability of my so-called "professional organization" to write with scientific objectivity. I've started to peruse the new guidelines, and I've seen some well-intended ideas there, but the authors' seemingly uncontrollable need to preach political leftist ideology throughout the document destroys the value that those well intended ideas could have had if they'd been discussed fairly with a respectful approach toward the the very real concept of positive masculinity. I'm saddened but not surprised by APA.

People will choose to do what they wish. A commercial isn't going to change someone. You don't like the message? Change the channel and ditch the product. Chick-fil-a, hobby lobby, dicks sporting goods, gay free bakeries, the list goes on. The sky isn't falling and no one is being attacked. The butt hurt is sure strong though especially from those who are quick to throw the word snowflake around all day everyday. This has zero impact on my life and thus doesn't matter to me.
