When you carry you carry an awesome responsibility. I don't see this ending anytime soon. I bet a civil suit will be in the news next with a sizable judgement.

Part of Florida's Use of Force law is immunity from prosecution and Immunity from civil suits if found to have used lawful self defense. "776.032 Immunity from criminal prosecution and civil action for justifiable use or threatened use of force.—"

SGT Chris Wagoner I'm a betting guy. I think if I were opposed to this law that I'd use it as a test case. I don't think the Left will let this go untested. I'd have a tough time if I were on the jury.

When carrying, always try to avoid situations that may lead to drawing your weapon. If you are in a restaurant and someone is getting obnoxious with the staff, or someone else, pay your bill and leave. Be miles away if violence happens. Same with this guy, really, since when did you become a parking monitor. Don't be the one to initiate a confrontation.

I've seen the video and I don't believe, in this situation, I would have drawn and fired. That could have changed had the guy continued an assault but there was distance between the two. The CC holder may have been within the letter of the law but this is a close call to me.
