Here is proof that there is no equal rights, at least in CA. The hierarchy of victim-hood precluded her from a conviction that a man would have had the book thrown at him. She should be considered a sex-offender and the crazy courts in CA will probably allow her to win that lawsuit.

SMH Although the article doesn't give details of the case, it seems to me she should have gotten a stronger sentence and have to register as a sex offender. It should make no difference if you're a male or female when it comes to sexual abuse of a child!

She obviously had a skilled lawyer and understood how to play the legal system. You would think a Politician would have by now set up a law where there is a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison, 500k in restitution to the victim, selected as a life member in the sexual predator club, loss of all credentials in the educational field ect.... I'd like to know why is this happening in the first place and just how bad is it nationwide. I think this story is being held back for political reasons as well.
